WebFor future reference, this is what fixed it: Going through 10.0.0.1 to change the wifi mode on my modem from 802.11/a/n/ax to 802.11/a/n. Reboot modem. I also went into wireless adapter setting -> Properties -> Configure -> Change the wifi mode from Auto to 802.11 a/n and restart the computer. Happy to have working wifi now!
WebMy two cents: I Ike that the XB7 includes WI-FI 6 as that technology is lots better than its predecessors. But - my devices almost never use it because the automagic selecting picks the 2.4 MHz channel almost everywhere in the house. And if they do get on WIFI 6, they’ll stubbornly attempt to use it beyond the range where it works. Webunplug Comcast XB7 modem/router. Plug both back in after 30 seconds or so, and let router modem reboot and get online. Press button on back (with two arrows pointing at each other). When router modem starts flashing blue, quickly take simplisafe keypad and join your 2.4ghz wifi. It will say connected, and it should work.
