About .6 of a mile along the way, you’ll see signs of old stone walls and stairs on the right side of the trail. The remnants date back to the early 1900’s when Elbert Cantrell built a farm in this area. Immediately past the farm, you’ll pass the Ownby cemetery. WebMay 1, 2011 · Trails: At the bathhouse, keep walking up the road for a few yards and you will see a trail on your left designated by signs (the Hemlock Trail). Take this nicely maintained (graveled) trail for 0.4 miles until you come to a bridge. Instead of taking the bridge, just keep going toward your right.
